There will be a question and answer session at the end of the seminar. Be sure and stop by the Fisherman’s Headquarters booth during the show or visit their website at www.fishermans-headquarters.com.

Paul Rister is the Program Coordinator and Fishery Biologist for the Kentucky Department Fish and Wildlife Resources. Paul has been presenting seminars at the show for many years.  This year, join him for What’s up with Crappie & Bass Populations at Kentucky and Barkley lakes?

Come hear updates on last year’s fish sampling in the lakes; how did the numbers compare to the past decade, and what predictions can be made for next year’s fishing.  Asian carp are a growing concern in the lakes.  Come hear what progress is being made on controlling these populations in the lakes and rivers.  As always, there will be a time for your questions, and time to express your concerns about our local fish and wildlife resources.

If there are other questions you would like to have answered during the West Kentucky Boat and Outdoor Show, send them to paul.rister@ky.gov and he will be sure to incorporate them into the discussion.

Be sure to stop by the Kentucky Department Fish and Wildlife booth at the show or visit the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources on-line anytime at www.fw.ky.gov.
